Cypress lakes Community Channel Live Stream
For built in or connected cameras
- Select Share Your Camera from the 2 options below
- Use Video Source Drop down to select the desired camera
- Use Audio Source drop down to select camera and any microphone audio you want streamed.
- Click the green start button
For Zoom, Teams or Similar app
- Join Meeting in Browser and not the app.
- If prompted to install an app hit cancel
- Click "Join rom Browser" For Teams skip to
- (Zoom only )- if there's no "join from browser" option click "Launch Meeting"
- Hit cancel if prompted to download zoom app. "Join from Browser" should now be visible.
- Join meeting and come back to this tab when done
- Click "Share your screen" from the 2 options below
- Select the browser tab containing your meeting & Come back to this tab if you're switched off
1 - Prep your Content Source
Join Meeting in Browser and not the app.
- Locate the meeting invite link from your email or calendar invitation.
- Click the join link to join the meeting.
- If a pop-up window prompts you to open or install the Zoom desktop client, click Cancel.
- At the bottom of the page, click the Join from your Browser link.
- Note: If you don't see this option, click "Launch Meeting". Cancel download prompt if it appears.
- Join the meeting and come back to this page.
- Click "Share your screen" from the 2 options below
- Select the browser tab containing your meeting & Come back to this tab if you're switched off
- Adjust size if your browser to fill in the area
Join meeting from Browser.
- In your email invite, select Join the meeting now or enter meetign URL in a browser tab.
- If prompted to download the app hit cancel.
- Click "Join from Browser" and return to this tab
- Click "Share your screen" from the 2 options below
- Select the browser tab containing your meeting & Come back to this tab if you're switched off
For in-person only meetings/events
- Make sure all external cameras and audio sources are accessible on your computer.
- Select Share Your Camera from the 2 options below
- Use Video Source Drop down to select the desired camera
- Use Audio Source drop down to select all the audio sources you want streamed.
- Click the green start button
- Click on the "Switch to Live button" to start streaming
- Click "Switch to Regular playlist" and close this window to end stream.
2 - Start and Stop Streaming
Step 1 - Prep your Source
Zoom - Join in Browser. Not the app
- Open new browser tab and enter meeting URL
- Select "Join the Meeting" and then Cancel prompt to open the Zoom app
- If visible, click "Join from your Browser" towards the bottom of the page.
- If not visible click "Launch Meeting" and again cancel the prompt to open the Zoom app
- "Join from your browser" should now be visible. Click and return to this tab.
Microsoft Teams
- Open new tab and enter your meeting URL
- Click Cancel if prompted to download the Teams app.
- Click "Join from Browser" and return to this tab
External Camera & Mic
- Connect all external cameras and audio sources to your computer.
Step 2 - Setup Stream
Share Screen - Zoom Teams etc
- Click "Share your screen" from the 2 options below
- Click the Green "Share your Screen" button
- Select the browser tab containing your meeting
- Allow any permissions if they're requested & come back to this tab
- Adjust window size of your browser to fill in the screenshare area
Share Camera
- Select "Share Your Camera" from the 2 options below
- Use Video Source Drop down to select the desired camera
- Use Audio Source drop down to select all the audio sources you want streamed.
- Click the green start button
Step 3 - Start & End stream
- Click on the "Switch to Live button" to start streaming
- Click "Switch to Regular playlist" and close this window to end stream.
